Explore MR Elastography
11.27 - 12.2 | Booth #6405, North Hall B
McCormick Place, Chicago, IL, USA
Welcome to #RSNA16
It's that time of year again where the world of Radiology assembles in Chicago to celebrate, learn, share and inform. And once again, we're honored to be a part.
This year, Resoundant is not only pleased to announce that MR Elastography for liver disease continues to grow, but that the research pipeline for MRE is stronger than ever.
Thanks to the help of our strategic collaborators - GE Healthcare, Philips Healthcare and Siemens Healthineers - there are nearly 800 liver MRE units installed worldwide. Together, we're making sure that patients and providers have the tools they need to diagnose and monitor treatment like never before. On the research side, attendees can also stop by the Resoundant booth (#6405) to learn more about promising work that's being done using MRE to characterize brain tumors.
It truly is an exciting time for the field of Radiology, and as a result, for better patient care. We hope attendees have a wonderful week, and hope to see you around McCormick Place.

MR ELASTOGRAPHY FOR LIVER FIBROSIS
Magnetic Resonance Elastography (MRE) is a medical imaging technique that uses MRI and low frequency mechanical waves to noninvasively measure the stiffness of biological tissues. MRE is an FDA-approved upgrade for MRI systems, and is currently available at hundreds of sites across the U.S. as a painless and less expensive alternative to needle biopsy for liver fibrosis staging.
Offer More Insight
MRE offers physicians a powerful new option for liver assessment. It is a new tool that provides diagnostic information without the discomfort and risk of complications due to invasive procedures, enabling more frequent evaluation when closer monitoring is needed. By creating a visual representation of liver tissue stiffness, MRE helps radiologists deliver a more confident diagnosis at a lower cost than previous techniques.
Both comprehensive and non-invasive, MRE can appeal to patients and physicians and can help expand the role of radiology into new areas. More than anything else, MRE holds the promise of better outcomes
at lower costs to the healthcare system.
From tumor viscoelastic properties to slip interface imaging, brain MRE is showing enormous potential in preoperative imaging protocols. Come learn more about the future of clinical MR Elastography.
Resoundant, Inc. is proud to collaborate with leading imaging manufacturers to make MRE available around the world. MRE is an add-on option for most new MR scanner purchases, or MRE can be added to nearly any existing 1.5T or 3T MR scanner by contacting one of our partners below.
