Richard L. Ehman, MD

Chief Executive Officer

Dr. Ehman is Professor of Radiology at Mayo Clinic. He is an inventor, holding more than 70 U.S. and foreign patents. He was awarded the Gold Medal of the ISMRM in 1995, the Outstanding Researcher Award of the RSNA in 2006, and was elected to the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies of Science in 2010.

Joel Felmlee, PhD

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Felmlee most recently held an appointment as Professor of Medical Physics in the Mayo Clinic Department of Radiology.  His research Interests include: Interventional MRI, MRI guided Focused Ultrasound tissue Ablation used in treatment of uterine fibroid, breast cancer and liver cancer tissues, MRI Motion correction, Artifact reduction, Pulse sequence design, MRI receiver coil design, RF energy deposition and MRI safety issues.

Rashid Fehmi, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Fehmi provides strategic planning and oversight for the company’s financial functions and Finance & Tax related activities. After joining Mayo Clinic in 1999, Mr. Fehmi provides Finance, Business and Tax oversight for Mayo Clinic Department of Business Development, a diversified business of Mayo Clinic where ideas are converted into medical solutions and commercialized to support the ongoing mission of Mayo Clinic.

Kay Pepin, PhD

Vice President, Research & Global Collaboration

Dr. Pepin has 10 years of experience in MRE and is responsible for providing consulting and advisory services for pharmaceutical companies and contract research organizations that want to incorporate MRE into their clinical research studies. She has an extensive background in the application of MR imaging in clinical trials. She currently serves on the Quantitative Imaging Biomarker Alliance (QIBA) committee for liver MRE.

Jeremiah Heilman, PhD

Vice President of Design and Engineering

Dr. Heilman leads Resoundant's research and development activities, specializing in both hardware and software applications. He has over 10 years of experience in device innovation, manufacturing, and hardware and software design.

John Hartigan, DRSc.

Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs

John Hartigan is an accomplished quality and regulatory leader in the medical products industry with a focus on product development, market approval, quality management systems, regulatory processes, and compliance with federal and international regulations involving bio/chemical, manufacturing, and software processes. He has worked in the medical product space for over 25 years for organizations such as Medtronic, Philips, and other innovative companies. Dr. Hartigan is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS).

Mike Kalutkiewicz

Vice President of Global Policy and Communications

Mike leads Resoundant's policy portfolio, focusing predominantly on healthcare delivery, cost-effectiveness and medtech policy at the national level. His work has been published in leading scientific journals, including Nature Biotechnology, and it has served as a catalyst for federal initiatives, such as the Interagency Working Group on Medical Imaging, under the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

Rudy Seul

Manager, Sales and Channel Partnerships

Mr. Seul began his career in imaging as manager of a diagnostic radiology department in a large Midwest teaching hospital.  He then moved into sales of imaging products and technology for the Eastman Kodak Company holding several positions including, Technical Sales Specialist, Marketing Manager, and Account Executive supporting the Mayo Clinic Healthcare System.  He brings over 30 years of medical imaging market experience to Resoundant.

Jun Chen, PhD

Senior Scientist

Dr. Chen is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Mayo Clinic and also serves as a Senior Scientist for Resoundant. He is a leading researcher in MRE with over 20 years of experience, primarily focused on standardization, image acquisition, and hardware development. Jun has extensive experience in the application of MRE in clinical trials. He serves on the Quantitative Imaging Biomarker Alliance (QIBA) committees for both MRE and ultrasound elastography.

Roger Grimm

Senior Software Engineer

Roger Grimm is a Senior Software Engineer at Mayo Clinic.  He has been developing applications of MR technology for over 30 years with experience in motion correction, vascular flow, dynamic imaging and elastography. He co-developed the mathematical algorithm used to convert MR images into stiffness estimates and works with our commercial MR partners to expand access to this technology.

Scott Kruse

Senior Research Technologist

Mr. Kruse is a Senior Research Technologist at Mayo Clinic.  He has been involved in the development and application of MRE technology for over 20 years. In addition, he has over 10 years of experience in conducting analysis of liver MRE exams, and is involved in teaching others how to do this properly. Mr. Kruse co-developed a training module in MRE analysis that is used at Mayo Clinic.
